Doug Winshall

Doug is the Founder and Managing Partner of Prima Property Partners. He is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy as well as capital-raising, new acquisitions, development and asset management activities.

Prior to forming Prima, Doug co-founded and successfully operated ClearRock Properties from 2009 – 2020. ClearRock acquired 16 properties totaling 2.8 million square feet, and still owns and operates several properties in Boston, New York, Washington and Fairfield County (CT). Before ClearRock, Doug was on the senior executive team at Trizec Properties (a $9 billion REIT), a partner with Taconic Investment Partners and Chief Operating Officer for Greenstreet Real Estate Partners as well as lesser roles with Swig Weiler & Arnow and Cushman & Wakefield. During his tenure at Greenstreet, Doug worked alongside Joseph where they acquired 7 properties totaling $175 million over the course of one year.

Doug received an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston University. He served on the Board of Governors of The Real Estate Board of New York and was Co-Chairman of the Bryant Park Business Improvement District.
